Genspect is pleased to welcome Dr. Eithan Haim, M.D., to Inspecting Gender. Dispatches From the Operating Room will feature Dr. Haim’s insights into Medical Ethics.
Dr. Haim first gained recognition as the whistleblower who exposed Texas Children’s Hospital for continuing to perform transgender medical procedures on minor children despite their announcement in the Spring of 2022 that all such interventions had ceased.
Dr. Haim’s courageous decision to speak out was driven by a deep commitment to ethical medical practices, and the protection of vulnerable children. In what is widely viewed as a politically motivated effort to silence his advocacy, Dr. Haim is currently under a felony indictment by the Department of Justice for alleged HIPAA violations. Regardless of efforts to silence him, he remains committed to upholding transparency and ethical standards in healthcare and continuing to advocate for the rights and well-being of pediatric patients.
