Genspect Expert College Series
By Genspect
Gender non-conforming and trans-identified students provide colleges the opportunity to celebrate diversity and empower young people to transcend stereotypes. However, studies reveal that many of these students exhibit comorbidities such as ASD, ADHD, anxiety, depression and/or a history of trauma. The studies also reveal that still other students repress same-sex attraction through trans-identification. How can campuses safely/best support such a varied group, as well as the emerging group of young people managing detransition?
The Expert College Series is your opportunity to expand your understanding of the complexities of gender health and better support your students.
Familiarity with the resources in our self-paced Summer Learning Series is recommended but not required.
